Allergens commonly found in drinks coming from coffee machines
are oat (from oat milk or vending powders) and milk (from fresh milk or vending powders).
Allergens are always highlighted in the ingredient list of the products, to be easy to find.
Note, that the same pipes are used for all types of ingredients that are put into
the machines (i.e fresh milk, powders and oat drinks). So if an ingredient that contain an allergen are used in the machines, all coffee drinks taken from the machine may
contain allergens from that ingredient.
The information to the consumer should always be accurate in order not to
discriminate consumers with allergy. For example, if the machine contains fresh milk as the only allergen, the consumer should only be informed of the allergen “milk”, and if there are both milk and oat products in the machine, the information to the consumer should contain both “milk” and “oat”.
